Attractions in Borjomi

Cable car

It is quite impressive, consists of only one booth and stretches over a picturesque gorge. The funicular takes passengers to the Borjomi mountain plateau, which is 1000 meters above sea level. The views from it open up to Borjomi and a huge waterfall flowing down to the Prometheus monument in Central Park. The lower station (landing) is to the right of the entrance to Central Park, if you face it. You do not need to enter the park itself for this.

House of Mirza Riza Khan

Borjomi's business card is the house of Mirza-Riza-khan. It stands almost in front of the entrance to Central Park, on the left side, if you turn to face the entrance. It's easy to recognize the house: it has an unusual style of construction, blue color and turquoise stones on the ceiling of one of the balconies. It was intended for the consul of Iran - Mirza-Riza-khan. Now it is used as a hotel-museum.
